Do I need both products?
No. FOSS IQX™ Device Management and FOSS IQX™ Supplier Quality are two dedicated products serving different teams, and each works without the other. Most customers start with the one that matches their most pressing problem.
Will FOSS IQX™ work with the instruments I already own?
FOSS IQX™ Device Management connects to FOSS analytical instruments, so it needs at least one FOSS solution on site - see the compatibility list above, or ask a specialist to confirm your exact fleet. FOSS IQX™ Supplier Quality is different: use it with or without a FOSS instrument.
How long does implementation take?
Days rather than months. There is no hardware to buy and nothing to install: instruments connect to the cloud, and a FOSS specialist configures specifications, roles and alerts alongside your team.
Can FOSS IQX™ connect to our other systems?
Yes, through the API add-on. It moves data between FOSS IQX™ and the systems you already run, without manual exports. SSO and Private Cloud are available as add-ons too.
How is FOSS IQX™ priced?
Pricing scales with the size of your operation - the number of connected instruments or suppliers, and the products you use. A specialist will put a figure against your specific setup.
Does this replace our FossCare™ service contract?
No. The software sits alongside your existing FOSS service agreement. Planned maintenance, calibration support and specialist access continue as they are.
