FOSS IQX™ – Quick Start Guide
Sign in, invite your team, pick a network, and start working with your instrument data — fast and confidently.

Log in to FOSS IQX™
Go to app.iqx.net and sign in with your FossAccount. No account yet? Select Sign-Up on the login screen.
- Open app.iqx.net and bookmark it.
- Enter your FossAccount credentials, or create a new account.
- If prompted, verify your email to finish setup.
Setting up your Organization
- You must be an Organization Admin to add and remove users.
- If you’ve received a welcome email for FOSS IQX™ from a Customer Success Manager, you’re likely already an Organization Admin.
- If you don’t know who that person is, please contact: support@iqx.net.
Invite high-level users (Organization Admin)
- Click your account name → Organization.
- Open the Admin Control Panel.
- Click Invite Users, enter their email, and select a role.
Assign device management users
Users without a role can’t perform tasks. Assign roles in Roles & resources:
- Open Roles & resources.
- Scroll to Users with no role.
- Assign the appropriate role for each person (hover roles to see permissions).
Select a network
If modules appear greyed out, choose a network from the dropdown at the top of the IQX homepage.
Profile tab
Click the profile icon (bottom left). Two places to visit right away:
User preferences
- Language — choose UI language.
- Time zone — set to local; we recommend the MM-DD-YYYY date format.
- Decimal Separator — Tip: Many European and South American locales use a decimal comma (e.g., 3,14), while the US, UK, Australia/New Zealand, and much of Southeast Asia use a decimal point (e.g., 3.14).

FAQs
Why are modules greyed out?
Confirm you (1) belong to an active organization, (2) have a role, and (3) selected a network. If it persists, contact support@iqx.net.
How do I add users to FOSS IQX™?
See Invite high-level users and Assign device roles. Remind invitees to accept within 48 hours.
Where can I see my samples?
Open the Instrument Data module, then select the instrument from your active network. If you don’t see it, check other networks first.

I forgot my password — how do I reset it?
On the IQX sign-in page, choose Forgot password and follow the email instructions for your FossAccount.
Which browsers are supported?
Use the latest versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari. If you’re on an older version, update your browser and try again.
How do I switch organizations?
Click your account name → Organization and pick the right organization. If you don’t see it, ask your Organization Admin to add you.
My invite expired — what now?
Invites expire after 48 hours. Ask your Organization Admin to resend it from the Admin Control Panel.
