Take complete control of your data with API and SSO

Move instrument data into the systems you already run or the put sign-in under your own policy.

FOSS IQX™ API

Your instrument data, where you need it

The FOSS IQX™ API sends results straight into the systems your team already works in. No exporting, no re-typing, no waiting.

  • Clean, structured data, ready to use
  • Secured with encryption, authentication and authorization
  • REST over HTTPS, so it works across platforms
FOSS IQX™ API Basic Read
Reads your samples and your instrument configurations.
FOSS IQX™ API Pro Read and write
Everything in Basic, plus writing back: register instruments, re-predict against a model and update samples.
FOSS IQX™ API Spectra Full spectra
Everything in Pro, plus full spectral export in FOSS formats, JCAMP-DX or JSON.

Every package includes the specification, documentation, code examples and a C# .NET client.

For FOSS IQX™ Device Management only. The API is an additional add-on for Device Management, so you need a Device Management solution in place.

FOSS IQX™ Single Sign-On

One sign-in, controlled by your IT

Your team signs in to FOSS IQX™ with the company account they already have. Your identity provider decides who gets in.

  • Your password policy and MFA apply at every sign-in
  • Access ends the moment an account is disabled in your directory
  • Fewer passwords to weaken or reuse

Works with either suite. Available for FOSS IQX™ Device Management or FOSS IQX™ Supplier Quality, whichever you run.

One, both or neither

They solve different problems and neither depends on the other. Most sites need one at most.

The API, on its own

Your systems need the instrument data, but sign-in is already handled or the user count is small enough that it is not an issue.

SSO, on its own

IT governs every account centrally and will not make an exception. Nothing downstream needs the data automatically.

Both

Larger networks, usually. The data has somewhere to go and the account policy has no exceptions in it.

Find out which applies to you

A specialist can look at how your sites are set up and what your systems already expect, and tell you whether either of these is worth adding.
